After cleaning the iris beds I sprinkle fertilizer to each iris clump. That is what I am doing in the first photo. The second photo I am spreading PREEN throughout the entire bed. Best time to apply is just before it rains, the moisture activates both products. It is so exciting to be outside in the garden.
Workers in the garden digging iris that will be used to fill our customer orders. The bottom photo are the iris in baskets which have taken over our garage. Once the orders have been filled and customers notified we will be re-planting our iris. The fun never ends!

Many trash cans have been filled with the stalks that have been cut off. As a result just a few of the late blooming iris remain blooming in the garden. It will not be long before the garden is closed to visitors. Even with all the rain we experienced the iris blossoms have been spectacular. It has been a great season!
