Blueberry Bliss along with many other early blooming iris are looking spectacular.
Wench has beautiful unique colors.
A good way to extent your iris blooming season is to plant early blooming iris along with late blooming iris. This is a great way to enjoy their beauty over a period of time. See you in the garden.

Working in the garden

After cleaning the iris beds I sprinkle fertilizer to each iris clump. That is what I am doing in the first photo. The second photo I am spreading PREEN throughout the entire bed. Best time to apply is just before it rains, the moisture activates both products. It is so exciting to be outside in the garden.

The 2019 iris season has come to a close with the completion of planting and fertilizing

My new iris and the iris that were dug have been re-planted.  I plant them in a circle because of my watering system.
Final fertilization has been completed.  I try to time fertilizing when the forecast is rain and rain it did.
